  • How can I book tickets?
    Tickets can be booked online, over the phone (01937 580544), or in person at the cinema bar.

    How do I purchase tickets online?
    Select your chosen film, Choose seats on the seating plan, Select ticket types (Adult, Child, Concession, etc.) Click “Add to Order” then “Continue” Choose to log in, register, or skip account creation Proceed to payment (card or gift voucher accepted)

    Do I need an account to buy tickets online?
    No. You can checkout as a guest. However, an account allows faster booking in future and is needed to apply your membership discount if applicable.

    I’m having difficulty booking online. What can I do?
    You can call the box office on 01937 580544 or visit the cinema in person for assistance. Availability may also change due to cancellations.

    Is there a booking fee for online tickets?
    Yes. A £0.80 per ticket booking fee applies to all online purchases. This can be avoided by booking in person or by phone.

    When are tickets released?
    Film tickets are usually released every Thursday between 5:00–6:00pm for screenings starting the following Friday. Arts Cinema Events are released around 2 months in advance.

    I want to book a film showing in two weeks but I am unable to see the dates available?
    Our film programme is confirmed weekly, our tickets go on sale on Thursday’s at 5pm for the following Friday.

    Can I cancel/ reschedule my booking?
    We are happy to change bookings up until the performance. Please call the box office on 01937 580544. We offer a credit note for cancellations within 48 hours. Unfortunately we are unable to refund the online booking fee.

    What are the different ticket types?
    • Child – 2-12
    • Teen – 13-17
    • Adult – 18+
    • Senior – 60+
    • Family – 2 Adults, 2 Children.

    All guests may be asked to show ID. Under 11s attending 12A films must be accompanied by an adult.

    What happens if I book a single seat?
    Any seat type can be booked for one person, including sofas.

    Why was I charged a booking fee?
    It covers the cost of providing the online booking system.

  • How do I apply my loyalty discount online?
    After selecting seats and logging in, you can apply your membership discount at checkout before payment.

    What are the benefits of the Loyalty Card?
    – £60 per year includes:
    – Discounted tickets
    – 2 free film tickets (excluding live/arts events)
    – 10% off food & drink
    – 2 free drinks (wine, beer, prosecco or soft drink)
    – Member offers and updates
    – £5 off when you renew your membership annually

  • Do you sell gift vouchers?
    Yes, available in cinema or online (£15, £20, £30, £50 & £75). Online vouchers are sent via email.

    How do I redeem a gift voucher?
    Online voucher codes can be used at checkout
    Phone bookings require quoting the voucher code

    What if I lose my gift voucher?
    Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced.

    How long are vouchers valid?
    2 years from purchase date.

  • Do you serve food?
    No, unfortunately we do not serve hot food, we do have a selection of sweet & savoury snacks.

    Do I need a film ticket to use the café?
    There is no film ticket required.

    Can I bring my own food or drink?
    No outside food or drink is allowed, including alcohol.

    Can I eat inside the auditorium?
    Only cinema-purchased food and drinks can be consumed in the auditorium.

    Do you cater for allergies?
    Yes, gluten-free and nut-free options are available. However, cross-contamination cannot be fully guaranteed.

    When is the cut-off time for ordering before my screening?
    Please note that hot drinks can only be ordered up until 5 minutes prior to the advertised commencement of the programme. This is to cause minimal disturbance during the film.

  • What pre-film content is shown?
    There are no adverts—only trailers, music videos, and short films. Films start approximately 15 minutes after advertised start time.

    What are your opening hours?
    The cinema opens 30 minutes before the first screening and closes after the final screening of the day. Phone lines are open during these hours.

    Who can attend Kids Club screenings?
    Adults must be accompanied by a child.

    Who can attend senior screenings?
    Senior screenings are reserved for those over 60 only.

    What are the different age ratings?
    Content with a U (universal) age rating is suitable for audiences of all ages, although not all U-rated content is aimed at children.
    Content with a PG (parental guidance) age rating is suitable for general viewing.
    Cinema content classified 12A age rating contains material that is not generally suitable for children aged under 12.
    No one younger than 15 may see content with a 15 age rating in a cinema.
    No one younger than 18 may see content with an 18 age rating in a cinema.

  • Do you have disabled facilities?
    Yes:

    Wheelchair seating (Screen 1: A1, A2, A3, & A4 & S2: A3, A4 & A5)

  • Is there parking?
    No onsite parking, Crossley Street is our nearest car park (2 hours free) or there is Station Gardens (3 hours free)

    What are your smoking rules?
    The cinema is fully smoke-free, including e-cigarettes and vaping devices.
